What information do we collect?
1. General Browsing Information
Intaglia Design Group LLC (“Intaglia”), known as (the “Site”) is committed to protecting your privacy. Intaglia gathers navigational information during each visitor’s use of our site. In the process of gathering navigational information, non-personally identifiable information (i.e. domain type, browser version, service provider and IP address) may be collected. The navigational information tells about the use of our website by visitors, including the areas of our site that are most visited or the time of a last visit to a page on our site. It also tells us about the technical efficiencies of our website and services (i.e. the time it takes a visitor to connect to our website or download pages). The navigational information helps us better understand a visitor’s experience at the site and improve upon that experience by recognizing and delivering more of the features, services and products our visitors prefer.

2. Personal Information
Intaglia may ask you to provide personal information when you establish or update an Intaglia account or manage your account, create a wishlist, enter a contest or sweepstakes, participate in a survey, shop online, check the status of an order or review order history, provide a review about our products, search for products on our site or provide information about your shoe preferences.
Categories of information collected include name, address, email address, recipient’s name and email address, order information, telephone number, credit card information, birth month and day, your review of our products, saved searches.
Like many websites, we use “cookies” to enhance your experience and gather information about visitors and visits to our websites. Please refer to the “Do we use ‘cookies’?” section below for information about cookies and how we use them.

How do we use your information?
Intaglia uses the personal information we collect from you online at the site for the following purposes:
to deliver products that you have ordered, fulfill requests that you have created and process your return;
to understand your needs and preferences, possibly through surveys, product evaluations or cookies;
to develop, market and sell products and services to you and to tailor your experience on the website to your interests;
to contact you or the product recipient(s) in the event of order or delivery difficulties;

If you have opted-in to receive our e-mail newsletter, we may send you periodic e-mails.

If you create or modify an Intaglia account you may save personal information in that account, such as name, shipping and billing addresses and credit card information. We will access this saved information to make your shopping quicker and easier. We also require you to create and/or access your account to use various services on the website, including creating a product review. Because you must create or access your account prior to creating a review, it is possible that we could associate you with the review you provide. Information you include in a product review may be used by us to enhance and personalize our product offerings to you.

If at any time you would like to stop future delivery of promotional email (including newsletter and wish list), please follow the removal instructions in the section below “How can you opt-out, remove or modify information you have provided to us?” Asking us to stop delivery of future promotional email will not prevent you from receiving email communications relating to any online order you place at, requests to participate in surveys about our products other operational email communications or emails forwarded to you by a friend that tell you about our products.

How do we protect visitor information?
Intaglia takes the following types of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information: use of technologies and policies such as limited access data-centers, firewall technology and secure socket layer certificate authentication. When you place orders or access your personal information, we offer the use of a secure server. Intaglia uses the Mijireh, a secure and PCI compliant ecommerce platform for collecting and transmitting credit card information to your payment gateway.

Why do I need a payment gateway to use Mijireh?
Mijireh provides a secure and PCI compliant ecommerce platform for collecting and transmitting credit card information to your payment gateway. You need the payment gateway to charge the credit cards and deposit money into your bank account.
Why not just use PayPal or Google Checkout?
Just like using PayPal or Google Checkout, Mijireh removes all the security concerns from handling ecommerce transactions for your website. Unlike PayPal and Google Checkout, Mijireh still gives you complete control over the design of your checkout page. Other than the domain name changing in the web browser your checkout page will look exactly like your website. Mijireh will host all your images, css, html, etc. for your checkout page so you do not have to worry about security scans, SSL certificates, dedicated IP addresses, log monitoring and PCI compliance regulations for your website. Look at G-Force Health for an example of a live site using Mijireh.
Why not just transmit credit cards to my payment gateway from my own server?
One of the main goals behind Mijireh is remove all of the security concerns associated with passing credit card data between your checkout page and your payment gateway. Getting a website that transmits credit card data to be PCI compliant is a hard and expensive burden that involves getting a dedicated IP address, and SSL certificate, quarterly security scans and an expensive server configuration. Mijireh let’s you completely design your own checkout page, not just set some colors and a logo but COMPLETELY design it. The Mijireh will slurp up all your html, css, javascript, images, etc. and host them on our secure ecommerce platform. So when your buyer hits your checkout page it doesn’t look any different from the rest of your site.

Do we use “cookies”?
Yes. Cookies are small data files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer’s hard drive through your web browser (if you allow). Cookies are used to help track your clicks and pass information as you navigate the site. For instance, we use cookies to help us remember and process the items in your shopping cart. They are also used to help us understand your preferences based on previous or current site activity. We also use cookies to help us compile aggregate data about site traffic and site. This allows us to make the site more responsive to your needs by delivering a better and more personalized experience to you.
We may share non-transactional behavioral data collected through the use of cookies with third-party service providers to assist us in better understanding our site visitors. These service providers are not permitted to use the information collected on our behalf except to help us conduct and improve our business.

You can choose to have your computer warn you each time a cookie is being sent, or you can choose to turn off all cookies. You do this through your browser (like Netscape Navigator or Internet Explorer) settings. Each browser is a little different, so look at your browser’s Help menu to learn the correct way to modify your cookies. If you turn cookies off, you won’t have access to many features that make your site experience more efficient and some of our services will not function properly. However, you can still place orders over the telephone by contacting customer service.

Do we disclose the information we collect to outside parties?
We do not sell, trade or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information unless we provide you with advance notice, except as described below. The term “outside parties” does not include Intaglia. It also does not include website hosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others’ rights, property or safety.

However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising or other uses.

How can you opt-out, remove or modify information you have provided to us?
To modify your e-mail subscriptions, please let us know by modifying your preferences in the “My Account” section. Please note that due to email production schedules you may receive any emails already in production.

To delete all of your online account information from our database, sign into the “My Account” section of our site and remove your shipping addresses, billing addresses & payment information. Please note that we may maintain information about an individual sales transaction in order to service that transaction and for record keeping.
